Un ‘alleato’ illustre per San Siro: è Stevie Van Zandt (in arte anche Little Steven, ndr), chitarrista della E Street band di Bruce Springsteen, tra i ‘primatisti’ dei concerti al Meazza, che sposa la causa del Comitato Sì Meazza per salvare San Siro.
Con un tweet, infatti, Van Zandt invita a sostenere il comitato: “We need to save San Siro! One of the last of the great venues! We have enough skyscrapers and shopping malls in the world but there is only one San Siro! Use this email and give your name and say San Siro forever! comitatosimeazza@gmail.com”, il testo del post in cui lo storico chitarrista e amico del ‘Boss’ sottolinea “Abbiamo abbastanza grattacieli e centri commerciali nel mondo ma c’è un solo San Siro!”.
